Referral partnership · For CPAs & accounting firms
Your clients ask you about financing before they ask a bank.
You already know which of your clients need capital — you see it in the cash flow before they say a word. The question is what you do with that. Sending them to their bank is the reflex. Here is what usually happens next.
The bank route
- 01Client applies, hard credit pull on day one
- 02Three to six weeks of underwriting
- 03Declined on time in business, industry code, or a ratio
- 04No explanation of what would change the answer
Your client comes back to you with nothing, and you have no next step.
The MAG route
- 01Soft-pull prequalification — no impact on their credit
- 02One file, matched across a panel of 80 lenders
- 03Approvals as fast as 24 hours
- 04If it is a no today, our advisors build the file toward a yes
Your client gets an answer either way — and you stay the person who found it.

What you are not signing up for
The referral ends where your relationship begins.
- No competing servicesWe do not offer accounting, bookkeeping, or tax. Your client stays your client.
- No client legworkYou make the introduction. We take the call, the file, and the follow-up.
- No advance feesYour client is never charged to explore an option.
- No exclusivityThe agreement is non-exclusive and either side can end it on thirty days' notice.
How you are paid
A share of what the lender pays us, on deals that actually fund.
| Referral type | Commission |
|---|---|
| Plain referralYou introduce the client. We handle all contact, application, and transaction management. | 25% |
| Co-brandedJoint marketing under your firm's name, with MAG materials co-branded to your practice. You remain limited to introduction only. | 35% |
| Attest clientsA client for whom you perform an audit, review, or compilation. We accept and work the introduction — no fee is paid, and none is accepted. | No fee |
Percentages are of the gross commission we actually receive from the lender, before our own costs. Paid within 15 business days of MAG receiving cleared funds, with a statement showing the transaction, the gross commission, and the calculation. Reported on Form 1099; a W-9 is signed before the first payment.
Run the numbers
The percentage is fixed. The dollar amount follows the loan.
Your share of our gross commission does not change — 25% or 35%, set by your tier. What moves is the size of the deal underneath it. Move the sliders to see what a steady referral habit is worth.

Illustration only — not a projection, an offer, or a guarantee of earnings. It assumes MAG's gross commission from the lender averages 3% of the funded amount, which is a blended figure that varies materially by product, lender, and credit profile. Only funded deals generate commission; introductions that do not close pay nothing. Attest clients are worked at no fee and are excluded from every figure above.
Firms we work with
You would not be the first.
Accounting and tax practices already send us the financing side of their client work, and keep the client relationship themselves.
Want to hear how it actually works from a firm already doing it? Ask us and we will make the introduction — talking to one of them before you sign anything is a reasonable thing to want.
How the referral works
Four steps, and only one of them is yours.
Step 01
You introduce
Client name, business, contact details, and a line on what they need. Get their consent first, and confirm in writing whether you perform attest work for them.
Step 02
We acknowledge
Within three business days we confirm in writing whether the introduction is accepted as a qualified referral, and at which tier. Nothing counts until that confirmation.
Step 03
We work the file
The call, the application, the lender matching, and every follow-up. You can ask for the status of any referral at any time.
Step 04
You are paid
Within 15 business days of us receiving cleared commission from the lender, with a statement showing the calculation.
“I loved the service I received from MAG, as well as the speed with which I got the funds. I will sure use them again when the time comes.”

Twenty minutes is enough to know
Bring one client you couldn't place last year.
We will tell you honestly whether we could have. If the answer is no, you have lost twenty minutes and learned where the line is.
